The Medium Voltage Cells are manufactured with arc-proof mixed insulation in order to guarantee maximum safety for the substation operator, even if an electric arc starts inside the cell.
The cells are designed to withstand the overpressures generated at the beginning of the electric arc formation. They are also equipped with special internal exhaust channels that carry hot gas, still under pressure, out of the cell by means of flaps in areas difficult for personnel to access.
They can be installed in transformation substations, distribution cabinets and used for the control and protection of lines, motors and transformers. The different units can be easily combined with each other and thus allow configurations according to the diagrams of a certain project.
